We are seeking a Senior or Principal Scientist to join our team onsite and lead advanced simulation and modeling initiatives for our cutting-edge Cardiac Electrophysiology Mapping System. This role is an opportunity to contribute to life-changing innovations by leveraging your expertise in simulation development and algorithm design. The ideal candidate is proactive, results driven and a self-motivated leader who values precision and consistency in their work.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and execute simulations to model lesion formation.
• Calibrate and verify simulations through experimental testing and histological data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into the product software.
• Design and integrate algorithms ensuring system compatibility.
• Optimize ablation parameters using simulations to ensure safe and effective lesion formation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards through collaboration with quality and regulatory teams.

What we need:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a scientific/engineering discipline, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience using simulations and data-driven approaches to achieve engineering results in a regulated industry.
• Expertise in using simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, MATLAB) to model electromagnetic interactions.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing algorithms for medical systems.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex engineering challenges and optimize simulations for clinical efficacy.
• Collaborative team player ensuring seamless integration of simulation results and algorithms into product development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Adaptable in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to shifting priorities and project needs.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position located in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location, additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
