Position Title: Senior Data Scientist

Position Overview
The Senior Data Scientist applies analytic methods to evaluate the performance of EnChannel’s 3D Mapping, PFA, and imaging platform, support development, quality assurance, preclinical and clinical studies, regulatory submission, and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design tests and algorithms to evaluate the performance of navigation, mapping, and ablation methods (localizing electrode positions, generating 3D cardiac meshes, processing intracardiac signals, mapping electrophysiologic parameters, and assessing ablation lesions).
- Facilitate advancement and refinement of signal acquisition and processing algorithms.
- Assist in the design of preclinical study protocols and perform data analysis.
- Contribute to clinical research protocols and data analysis.
- Process and organize clinical data to establish and maintain a clinical database.
- Support R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs data generation and analysis for submission to regulating and notified bodies.
- Contribute to the “Rhythm Library,” product documentation, educational material, and publications.
- Comply with quality system and regulatory requirements.
- Foster collaboration and respect within teams, physicians, and laboratory staff.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Biophysics, Biology, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years in cardiac electrophysiology product development or support.
- Knowledge of 12-lead ECG, intracardiac electrograms, cardiac anatomy, signal processing, electroanatomic mapping, and ML/AI.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D cardiac mapping, analytic geometry, programming (Python, R, SQL), data analysis (MATLAB, COMSOL, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow), and data visualization (matplotlib, seaborn, Tableau).
- Cross-functional collaboration and project management experience.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities under pressure.
- Ability to travel internationally
